Alpina Elite Classic Ski Boots – About: This is our top line, world class, elite level skate boot. It’s been a work of art in progress; we have tons of new things to show you. The first & the fore most is three dimensional titanium carbon stabilizing cuff & you can see its also sitting in a position that is very very easy flexing number one, its asymmetrical number two, its very very stable & light, number three, all the proponents that all our testers all our world class skiers wanted & one of the key element was to have a boot that really flexed very easily forward & not impede any of the moments in skating. Yet they didn’t wanna give up any torsional stability what so ever. Its OK that a skate boot has some flex in the front very very important yet we don’t wanna compromise any of the lateral stability.
Alpina Elite Classic Boot - About Sole
Alpina Elite Classic Boot - About Sole: You can also see on the bottom of the foot, if you see the way that the grooves are running, it’s somewhat in the semi circle because it also enhances in a way that the boot releases and flexes. Very important, they learn that in some testing that rather than coming straight across, it was very important to have that bend, and you see the boot also rounds and flexes easier, very key proponent in classic skiing so that the sole actually follows the foot the way it moves.
Alpina Elite Classic Boot - Inside
Alpina Elite Classic Boot – Inside: We are looking at the inside of our boot, a cross section of the boot right now. You can see there’s very similar technology that’s being used in many other sports, primarily in soccer and also in cycling. The materials that are being used are materials that really hold the foot in place, it allows the foot not to slip or move at all through out the movement. And the cut inside is lower, you can see it is very much shaped to that your ankles are shaped, and also the support in the Achilles area. Our lacing on the top of the line boots have gone to a flat type lacing and the reason we like those is they do hold the foot very securely and very very light weight.
Alpina Elite Classic Boot - Internally
Alpina Elite Classic Boot – Internally: You can see we’re showing you the internal part of the classic boot. There’s totally new concept in how to make cross country boots for racing at this point. You can see that the way that these seams are done on the inside where the lacing are is we’re pulling and trying to envelope the foot as best possible, to hold the foot very securely. We’re using flat type lacing with a different pattern than we’ve used previously. It does also sention hold the foot better, you can see the shape on the back of the foot is also a little bit closer to what we’re used to seeing in the very top of line soccer shoe or in cycling. The material is used are really holding the foot also much better than the traditional type models. It makes the boot very light, but at the outmost, it’s the top performance that we’re interested in. So lightness, performance and then combine with the seamless waterproof outside, is making a much much better product than we’ve ever had before.
Alpina Elite Men's World Cup Boots - About
Alpina Elite Men's World Cup Boots – About: This is our top of the line, world cup level elite series racing boots. We’ve one classic boot and one skate boot. We’ve spent years on development here on the ideal boots, or make ‘em as light as we possibly can, yet in the skating we want them to be light yet as stable and be able to perform at the absolute top level. We have tons of atheletes that we’ve been using for research and development and we’re very proud of this new series of boot.
Rottefella Racing Sole - About
Rottefella Racing Sole – About: The new racing sole from Rottefella gave us the opportunity to even make a better fitting boot for the racers. You can tell on the side of the boot, it comes up a little bit, it also adds to the stability in the platform. It’s made out of a peaback’s material which is very light weight and yet doesn’t change much in the varying temperatures on the snow or when we’re out there skiing. So it’s very important that the stability stays the same, yet the flex of the boot stays the same throughout the race or throughout training. So the peaback’s material allows that to happen.
Alpina Elite Classic Boot - Chris Freeman
Alpina Elite Classic Boot - Chris Freeman: This is the classic boot, so for traditional skiing this what is what i use. Its got many of the same features as the skate boot. What really comes to mind when i pick is its one of the lightest boot i ever felt. It has the same traditional lacing system, it only comes up to here which is the proper point in my opinion for it, thats where you don't get any hingement in the ankles. Fits like a second skin & its the best classic boot i ever used.
